The Lost Romantics Editorial Spread in Fajo Magazine June/July 2012
As part of my first published submission, myself and photographer Colin Gaudet collaborated with Ottawa-based clothing designer, Danica Olders on an innocent and fun photoshoot. With a team of amazing, creative minds, our day of shooting in freshly spring weather turned out to be an inspiring weekday for all involved. The team at Fajo Magazine took a great liking to it, and and graciously published it on their online magazine.
Editorial lay-out done by myself.

Hand Down Your Pants Spring 2012 Lookbook
Featured on Carleton University’s home page, Hand Down Your Pants’ owner Walker Tamblyn shared the ins and outs of owning your own business while completing an undergraduate degree.
As the stylist to this project, I had the opportunity to work within Walker’s concept of revived-vintage. Shot in the unique upstairs of Fresco’s Restaurant in the heart of Ottawa, the Spring 2012 look book featured styles normally seen on university graduates from the 1950s.

Testshoot with Photographer Colin Gaudet
Models International Management March 2012
As the lead stylist for this testshoot, I worked with new photographer, Colin Gaudet and some of Models International’s high-fashion models. Collaborating with Colin and Stella and Dot stylist Cierra Campeau, I was responsible for pulling clothing, scheduling models, coordinating hair and make-up looks with each model, and making decisions on which look would best promote each model. This shoot involved coordinating 5 models, and then selecting their best photos from the photographer’s top 100 picks.

Test Shoot with Photographer Martin Rondeau
Models International Management March 2012
As part of the big convention that Models International attends yearly, I was responsible for helping coordinate this high-fashion test shoot. Coordinating the shoot required scheduling 12 models over the course of two days, hiring a hair stylist, and make-up artist, and helping with model direction. As co-stylist, I shared the duty of contacting stores and designers, pulling clothing and accessories, steaming and preparing clothing, and putting together looks, including hair and make-up directions.

Chasing Liberty
Cloud in the Sky Studios February 2012
In the new year, Cloud in the Sky Studios began experimenting with short films, exploring story-boarding and character development. Chasing Liberty is a story about a young girl at odds with her single father. I worked with Cloud in the Sky in developing the characters of Skylar and her father through wardrobe styling.

Alphabet Creative May 2011
As Head of Wardrobe and Assistant to Producer, this project with Alphabet Creative was my first real insight into film/video. Shooting in Kingston and the Prince Edward County for three full days, my duties included coordinating with the Director which looks would be paired with which shot, as well as completing various tasks, big and small, for the Producer.

The Fashion Press x Top of the World
April 2011
For The Fashion Press’ second print issue, I styled and coordinated a creative showcasing spring/summer fashions from Top of the World Skateshop. I had been managing the shop at this time, and was heavily involved in the men’s and women’s buying, attending appointments, and going on buying trips. I worked closely with the owner for five years.

Models International Management Summer 2011
Over the summer, I began working with Models International Management by assisting stylist Renee Morra, and doing brand research for Sophe and Renee’s new women’s boutique, Viens Avec Moi. The day prior to shoots, Renee and I would gather clothing for students for their first photoshoot, and I would assist all afternoon on location of the shoots. Gearing up to the opening of Viens Avec Moi, I volunteered my time doing brand research, booking appointments with sales reps in Toronto and New York, and assisting with buying details.
